Welcome to the Forge Lead Discipleship Articles.
As a Forge Lead, you stand at the heart of a movement that seeks nothing less than the renewal of men, families, and the Church. These articles are designed to articulate the disciplines and practices of apostolic men—men who live as Christians in an apostolic age. We are no longer formed by a culture that carries faith for us (Christendom). Instead, we inhabit a world far closer to that of the apostles Peter and Paul: persecuted, evangelical, and countercultural.
The topics you will encounter here—Divine Intimacy, Discipleship, the TAO, Sacred Sexuality, the Domestic Church, and more—are not quick hits or one-and-done treatments. These topics are lifelong touchstones, the kind of realities a man can explore, deepen, and return to again and again across decades. Each is a pillar of Forge culture, a wellspring for your own relationship with Christ and a guiding star for the men you lead. You will never “master” prayer, the TAO, or discipleship. But you can grow in them, and as you grow, you will become more the man Christ calls you to be, and so will the men you influence.
So, take your time with these articles. Read them slowly. Pray through them. Let them shape you. Talk to your Forge coach about them. These articles are for you, as a Forge Lead, to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ through the development of time proven habits.
