Men & Work
- Created for fathers, single men, and grandfathers
- Empowering men to work like saints
About This Course
The question is worth asking: Does work have to suck? The answer is no. Work will always involve suffering, that’s part of life in a fallen world, but work is deeply good. Work is not a result of sin. Stated more positively, to work is to participate in God’s creative act. But sadly, that’s not how most men experience work. This course is designed to inspire and empower you in the following ways:
- Inspiring you to understand the sacredness of your work and how what you do participates in God’s creative act.
- Empowering you to view your work as a witness for Christ.
- Encouraging your provider instinct, which is a spiritual responsibility and moral good for your family.
- Motivating you to use prudence in an ever-changing world that is becoming more reliant on AI and less human-centered.
- Helping guide your work (secondary vocation) to serve your primary vocation (your family).
- Calling you to see your colleagues as image bearers and not cogs in a corporate machine.
- Showing you examples of men who have failed and succeeded who share their wisdom with you.
- Integrating your life – “unity of life” – so that you are bringing Christ into every facet of your daily rhythms.
