God Made Men

Description: The Church teaches that humans bear within themselves the image and likeness of God. This image is revealed in every facet of the human person, including our sexuality. For this reason, masculinity and femininity point to a kind of theology: they show us the face of God. Unfortunately, many in today’s world have a distorted view of masculinity. Men and boys are falling behind in nearly every relevant sociological metric including education, job success, and church involvement. Dr. Bishop will illuminate the crisis of men and what our Church can do about it.
Dr. John Bishop is the Founder and Executive Director of Forge. He holds a doctorate in Theology from the Catholic University of America. He is a frequent Catholic speaker and author whose first book, New Adam, will be released in February 2026. John lives in Des Moines, IA, with his wife and children.
